Writer Ceiridwen Terrill, author of the books Part Wild: One
Woman's Journey with a Creature Caught Between the Worlds of Wolves and Dogs
and Unnatural Landscapes: Tracking Invasive Species, visited campus yesterday. At dinner, Ceiridwen spoke about voice
and the plans for her next book on the radioactive Hanford site in central
Washington and the lives that all of us lead with nuclear radiation. All of the authors around the dinner table
talked about favorite writers and others.
Later Ceiridwen read from Part Wild to an audience of about fifty at an event co-sponsored by the Conner
Museum of Natural History and the Visiting Writers Series. Afterward, we went to a reception in
the Conner Museum, where Ceiridwen chatted with everyone and signed
copies of her books.
